Chipton-Ross is seeking a Production Planner for a contract opportunity in Manassas, VA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Selected candidate will be responsible for managing work order execution for large mechanical/electrical cabinet builds that get integrated and tested to support the Undersea Warfare test/integration portfolio.
Selected candidate will report the below status of actions and tasks to the Manufacturing Supervisor and internal customers:
-Fill all Work/Production Order shortages across multiple product lines (supporting a minimum of 10+ assemblers and their work orders) within the manufacturing floor using SAP.
- Act as the intermediary and liaison to the stockroom on resolution and troubleshooting on part allocation and component inquiries.
-Provide proactive real time detailed status on WIP on the floor to their First Line Leader via system status tools via excel, tableau, and Business intelligence data.
- Coordinate with the dock to receive hot critical shipments that support the production floor.
- Ensure that work is being flowed and executed aligning with Mission Systems Production Best practices.
- Manage aging work/production order queues to closure.
-Manage floor consumable consumption.
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience with SAP.
EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED
SHIFT:
4-10-1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
