Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a contract opportunity in El Segundo, CA.
This position is 100% onsite.
oDevelop and validate requirements for automated test systems of communication, satellite, sensor, and other space-based systems and components.
oDevelop architecture to integrate complex systems and components.
oPerform trade studies, modeling, simulation, and analysis to predict component and system performance.
oDefine and conduct critical tests to validate performance.
oManage appropriate aspects of critical supplier and partner performance.
oProvide support to products throughout their lifecycle.
oSupport project management by providing coordinating development of work statement, budget, schedule and conducting appropriate reviews.
oExperience developing system block diagrams, RF gain budgets, trade studies, and interconnect diagrams
oExperience with satellite or test system design, performance metrics, and requirement verification
oExperience troubleshooting RF test systems
PREFERRED DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
oExperience developing requirements
oExperience with mentoring, coaching, and guiding junior engineers
oExperience with model based development tools
Accredited Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
