Chipton-Ross is seeking five Engineer Network 1's for a contract opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Network Engineer to design, perform installation and configuration of network products: switches, routers and firewalls. Installation activities include: initial setup following standard configuration guidelines, security hardening, cabling, labeling, documentation and checkout. Ongoing tasks include: problem resolution, firewall changes, connection additions, moves and changes, monitoring.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience; Master's degree with 7+ years of experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience developing networks from design through implementation
Experience configuring Cisco routers, firewalls, and switches
Ability to obtain a Cyber Security certification


EDUCATION:
High school diploma/GED is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
9/80 work week.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
