Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Evaluation Lab Technician 2 for a contract opportunity in Berkeley, MO.

This position will be 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports activities to plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies. Designs systems, materials, components, software and methodologies to meet customer requirements. Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems. Supports the coordination of test requirements and assists in reviewing test methods and capabilities. Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post test tear-down. Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results. Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems. Works under general supervision.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 1 year experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards
• Minimum of 1 year working in Engineering Lab Environment or comparable Military experience.

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 1 year experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with Avionic equipment
• Minimum of 1 year experience maintaining computer hardware

EDUCATION:
Accredited AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
