Chipton-Ross is seeking four Digital Engineer 3 for a contract/hybrid opportunity in Rolling Meadows, IL.
Design Engineers to be involved in full life-cycle product development of Radio Frequency Electronic Warfare (RFEW), Infrared Counter Measures (IRCM) and Advanced Target & Surveillance (ATS) Systems. You will be involved in requirements analysis and system architecture, coding, test bench design, verification, synthesis and place and route using state of the art tools and techniques.
Work is on-site at Rolling Meadows, IL
Solid communication skills in English is required
Education in EE (preferred)
Expert in VHDL (preferred) or other Hardware Descriptive Languages (HDL)
FPGA Implementation expertise across manufacturers, predominantly AMD/Xilinx, Intel/Altera
Experience with multiple interfaces: ADCs/Data Sampling, PCIe, GbE, AXI, DDR3 & DDR4
Experience implementing designs in Xilinx UltraScale/SoCs
Experienced in Simulation & Verification: ModelSim, Questa, VUnit, MATLAB
Please do not submit the following:
NoFPGA validation, instead FPGA Design/Development experience
No general HW Design Engineer that has done a bit of FPGA design (Schematic, Electronics, Embedded DSP/SW, FPGA Design), but FOCUS on FPGA design
No FPGA experience to be solely through Automatic VHDL Code Generator tools like MATLAB HDL Coder, Xilinx SysGen
School must be accredited.
9/80 or 4/10 workweek is available.. This position is HYBRID. 70% on site, 30% remote.
