Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer 3 for a remote contract opportunity.

Will design, develop, integrate, document, test, and debug software that contains graphical, logical, and mathematical solutions taking into account project constraints of scope, cost, risk and schedule in support of meeting critical mission requirements by use of software technological means. Requires standardized programming development and user experience design using existing industry-proven coding standards for internal and military applications in concert with corporate security and backup and recovery compliance requirements for both hardware and software infrastructures. Technical fortitude and dedicated focus shall be required for successful design implementations and software lifecycle support for a model-based digital twin environment and holistic system that will both data interface and physically integrate with multiple systems and tools in its support of operational requirements. In this role, you'll be standing up and integrating existing developed digital twin systems into a brand-new holistic user experience environment and web portal for all Program/project life-cycle processes.

o Energetic self-starter able to learn new skills and implement rapidly

o 4+ years of implementing / integrating enterprise systems and developing crosstalk interface services

o 2+ years' experience developing scalable front-end web, web services, SaaS offerings, and REST APIs

o Experience with systems such as Anark MBEweb, Ansys Minverva, OpenMBEE, or equivalent model-based or digital twin data environments/tools

o Experience with Amazon AWS Cloud technology services

o Experience with software version control systems (e.g. Git)

Ability to see the big picture and help guide and inspire others o Experience with engineering, digital twin, and data simulation processes o Experience with deploying to or interfacing with Enterprise service buses (e.g. Spring Integration, Apache Camel, JMS, TIBCO)

o Hands-on experience with API configuration

o Implementation experience with a focus on change management and technology controls

o Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming concepts

o Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular)

o Experience with Relational DBs and/or NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB, MSSQL, MYSQL)

o Experience implementing system monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana
o Demonstrated experience developing test plans

o Experience with IT Cyber Security best practices for data system implementations

o Experience with storing and transferring large data files over services

o Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker

o Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes

o Experience with agile software development and the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence

Accredited Bachelor's degree from in an accredited university in Computer Science or related technical discipline
