Chipton-Ross is seeking a Graphic Designer 3 for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
Candidate will conceive, design, lay out, and coordinate editorial illustrations and creative artwork for print and online projects. Develop interpretive themes that convey ideas and information. Create graphic presentations that communicate mood, emphasis, insight, viewpoint, and similar visual impressions. Provide guidance on graphic technology and corporate identity/branding. Provide production coordination with in-house and offsite resources. Develop solutions to problems of some complexity requiring a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovativeness. Work closely with internal clients to understand requirements and create cost efficient graphic designs through available mediums. Work is performed under general and/or team direction. Participate in determining objectives of assignment and is expected to plan, schedule, and arrange own activities in accomplishing objectives. Candidate is expected to quality check work and will be reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
Candidate is expected to be proficient in Adobe CS6 Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat. Candidate is expected to be proficient in Microsoft Office 2010 (PowerPoint design and formatting expertise is required) (Word and Excel is desired). Good Communications and social acumen are required.
Accredited Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
4/10 work schedule
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
