Chipton-Ross is seeking an Industrial Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Ocala, FL.
This position is 100% onsite.
Updates process layout and configurations to meet production requirements and to assure the sequence of operations establishes maximum utilization of resources.
Conducts time studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, modify plans and programs for facility re-arrangements and revisions to operating methods.
Support the establishment of Standardized Work to capture current cycle times.
May assist in establishing accident prevention measures concerning all phases of production operations.
Assists other Industrial Engineers in establishing vendor relations and plan for an effective common tooling Inventory System.
Apply lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cost and increase yields.
Must have good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles, Work Measurements and Time Standards, Productivity and Performance management, Capacity Analysis, Simulation Modeling, Cost Analysis and Estimating.
Knowledge of Autodesk - AutoCad Software; Can perform Time Studies and Work Measurements
Familiarity on the following:SIMIO,Tableau,VBA,Lean Six Sigma
Accredited Bachelor's Degree
4/10 work schedule
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
