Chipton-Ross is seeking a Data Scientist for a remote contract opportunity.
This position supports an AI/ML project that aims to support the LM enterprise by forecasting risk in the supply base. This position will assist in developing and productionizing the data flows supporting the recurring risk mitigation process via ETL software. A strong candidate will have a background in data science, data analytics or data engineering. With technical guidance, this position will be responsible for:
oDeveloping productionized automated data flows with maintainability in mind
oSource and organize data sources and outputs to support front end visualizations and review material
oDevelop new table structures to support future analysis post deployment
At least 2 years' experience working with Pentaho Kettle o Strong understanding of data transformation concepts o Experience in identifying and deploying automation solutions
At least 3 years' experience in designing data flows and tables to support front end visuals in Tableau
o Some experience in AI/ML model development
o Ability to stand up databases/data storage solutions
Accredited Bachelor's Degree
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
