Description
Chipton Ross is seeking a Aircraft Inspector for a contract assignment in Stuart, FL

In addition to the function, duties and responsibilities set forth in the above labor grade 33, employee must also be able to perform inspection of assemblies/detail parts for compliance to applicable drawings, specifications and contractual requirements. Documents discrepancies per applicable procedures. Works from engineering drawings, blueprints, quality procedures and instructions, manufacturing specifications and procedures, operation and work sheets, electronic data and verbal instructions. Uses precision measuring instruments in performing assigned quality tasks. Maintains necessary documentation and records. Monitors and implement adherence to all safety and department procedures, practices and directives. Perform other duties as assigned. Keep own work area clean and orderly. Refer any problems to higher classification Painter or Supervisor.

Responsibilities:
Inspects assemblies and detail parts for compliance to applicable drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
Documents discrepancies per applicable procedures.
Works from engineering drawings, blueprints, quality procedures and instructions, manufacturing specifications and procedures, operation and work sheets, electronic data and verbal instructions.
Uses precision measuring instruments in performing assigned quality tasks.
Maintains necessary documentation and records.
Monitors and implement adherence to all safety and department procedures, practices and directives.
Performs quality compliance audits on designated frequency.
May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all disciplines.
Working knowledge of Client specifications & blueprints preferred.
Preferred candidate will have working knowledge of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) .
Able to understand shop mathematics to interpret engineering drawings, manufacturing specifications, and Inspection procedures.
Ability to use inspection tools such as, scales, thickness gauges, micrometers, calipers, go no-go gauges, dial indicators, and split ball gauges.

EDUCATION:
Accredited HS Diploma or GED and 0 to 1 year of inspection experience required in the manufacturing of aerospace components/assemblies.


SHIFT:
Must be able to work 2nd shift, 5/40 schedule


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
