Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineer Systems 3 for a contract opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.

As a Systems Engineer for the Ground Segment, you will be a part of a cross-functional agile scrum team with software developers and systems engineers. You will be a key stakeholder working with the software developers to ensure production is aligned to the design as specified in requirements. You will be a main contributor in decomposing required functionality using the architecture model and ensuring requirement linkage. You will be critical to ensuring test scripts are in line with the software verification plans to qualify the software for delivery. You will participate in DevOps between the software teams and the operations team to develop use cases and test plans for the end to end system tests. You will be the main point of contact for customer and internal stakeholders and participate in reviews and technical interchange meetings.

Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in STEM with 3 years of relevant experience
Experience using Jira and Confluence for agile project management
Experience working on space systems development programs
Experience with Cameo tools for architecture modeling
Experience working with software development teams
Experience in Agile methodologies
Experience managing requirements and verification plans in IBM Rational DOORS

Bachelor's Degree is required.
School must be accredited.

9/80 workweek.
