Chipton-Ross is seeking an Immigration Specialist for a hybrid contract opportunity in Santa Monica, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is a critical resource for the client Immigration program in the talent department, it serves as a dedicated point of contact providing holistic and consultative services on available employment-based immigration options including but not limited to L-1, H-1B, E-3, H1-B1, O, PERMs, Adjustment of Status applications). Communications both in-and-external will be provided on client processes, internal guidelines and/or program education. This is a unique opportunity for ambitious, self-driven individuals to work cross-functionally, interact with multiple stakeholders, and make an immediate impact the employee experience within a growing, global brand and program.
· Primary point of contact for “standard”/low-risk new cases on non-immigrant visas and visa extensions: advise on initial interest requests, guide stakeholders to external, third-party immigration counsel, complete online case initiations, handle required postings online and on-site, maintain internal updates and monitor cases to closure (end-to-end).
· Initial point of contact for “standard”/low-risk Request For Evidence Audits; attend all strategy meetings, prepare evidence collection Tracker(s), seek out and obtain evidence from multiple parties within Talent US and client HR abroad.
· Support immigrant visa cases including building case timelines, advising on Prevailing Wage Determination builds, PERM Recruiting process and advise on interviewing process as appropriate, support Immigrant Petition and Adjustment of Status documentation needs to closure.
· Provide Immigration information/education on the program offerings, global philosophy on the movement of international to key stakeholders (Talent and the business, i.e. hiring managers with first-time foreign national hires or transfers).
· Participate in case and program calls with external, third-party immigration legal counsel.
· Prepare monthly program case reporting (inquiries, future hires, travelers, active, VIPs).
· Maintain historical documentation and file management, ensure document retention compliance, security, and external agency inquiry preparedness.

REQUIREMENTS:
· 3+ years of experience working with U.S. private-sector employer immigration employee cases
· Possess strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visas, USCIS and Embassy/Consulate applications.
· Experience with online immigration case management systems or other technology platform.
· Ability to handle confidential data and maintain confidentiality and privacy.
· Experience with immigration document retention and file management skill set
· Strong competency in core professional skills, especially initiative, responsiveness, follow-through, attention to detail, information organization, time management, and tact.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

Full-Time
Monday-Friday HYB

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
