Chipton-Ross is seeking an Inspector for a contract opportunity in Camden, AR

RESPONSIBILITIES:
60% - Using calipers, micrometers and other measuring equipment, performs inspections on rocket motor and rocket motor components under the supervision of higher level inspectors. 30% - Writing Inspection Report (IR) cards, Discrepancy Reports (DR), etc. used for traceability. 10% - Entering shipping data, DR's, and Oracle entries in the computer on all programs.

REQUIREMENTS:
Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Ability to climb ladder, manipulate gages, qualify for the respirator program, drive motorized vehicles, carry a maximum of 35 pounds.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED and at least three (3) years of inspection or other related experience. - Arkansas Career Readiness Certificate-Silver Level desired for this position. - Trade or Vocational School courses in drawing interpretation and basic math are desirable.

SHIFT:
Full-Time
Must be available to work the schedule of the assigned manufacturing area, and overtime may be required as directed by the department manager. - Current openings include day shift (typically 6:30am to 5pm Mon.-Thurs.) and second shift (4:30pm- 3:00am Mon.- Thurs.) Plus overtime/weekends as needed.


MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
