Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer 4 for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Software Engineer to develop software for an electro-optical test bench. Typical applications are software products related to video processing, target detection and tracking, missile guidance/ navigation/ control algorithms, missile launchers, system control, built-in test, and system communication. Development will be in C and C++ hosted on either a PC or Unix environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
Familiarity with automated test equipment, standard communication busses and protocols including Fiber Optic, RS-232, RS-422, MIL-STD-1553 and Ethernet is helpful but not required.
The candidate will have experience throughout the entire software development life cycle including design, code implementation, and SW/HW integration and test. The candidate will be experienced in technical task leadership and/or be a subject matter expert in an area relevant to Lockheed Martin products described in the above paragraph. The candidate will have a strong background in software development. An ideal candidate will be familiar with using source code control, issue tracking tools as JIRA, hardware integration, troubleshooting, testing, and validation.
