Chipton-Ross is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer VI for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
This position is 100% onsite.
Selected candidate will integrate algorithms into C++ applications. Candidate is expected to be proficient in C/C++ 11 or later. The candidate needs experience in hardware to software integration, Intel multi-core processors, multi-threaded applications, Linux, Graphical interfaces, and full software life-cycle development.This candidate is expected to be an expert in their field with the ability to provide leadership and mentoring to the development team. It is imperative that the candidate meet the mandatory requirements and it would be beneficial if the supplier would communicate those requirements to the candidate.
C++ 11 or greater
Embedded real-time C++ software development on embedded real-time operating system (RTOS)
Hardware/Software (HW/SW) integration and test
Software configuration management / version control
Software issue tracking and project management
Agile development methodologies.
Confluence - web-based corporate wiki
Full software life-cycle development
Git - source code versioning
GitLab - source code versioning / CI/CD platform development
Jira - bug tracking and Agile project management
Multi-core / multi-processor / multi-threaded development
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or other related field with significant software development experience.
4/10 work schedule
