Chipton-Ross is seeking one Engineer Cognitive Software 3 for a contract opportunity in Roy, UT.
Conducts research and development in Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) data-driven methods combined with physics-based models for failure data predictive analytics, and prototypes advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques to stretch the capability of autonomous systems research and development programs for the evolution of CBM+ capabilities applied to various types of system solutions and use cases. Defines, develops, and delivers novel mathematical and statistical modeling and algorithm development to tackle the challenges of failure prediction, optimization, and classification for system applications drilling down to component/material root cause Physics of Failure (PoF) mechanisms. Applies machine learning algorithms to large sets of structured and unstructured data to solve a broad range of problems that include applications in test troubleshooting pattern recognition, predictive and prescriptive maintenance, diagnostic and prognostic failure assessments to determine Remaining Useful Life (RUL), and Model-Based Reasoners (MBR) in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) decision systems. Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions for CBM+ technology problems and challenges. Collaborates with equipment designers, systems engineers, software engineers, and hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software for CBM+. Analyzes system capabilities to resolve failure prediction problems concerning program intent, big data analytics, output requirements, input data acquisition, and programming techniques and controls. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deploy machine learning algorithms to prototype CBM+ technology verification testing and production, deployment, and sustainment Operations and Support (O&S) applications. Ensures software standards are met in the development of CBM+ algorithms, models, simulations, and code releases.
High school diploma and 4+ years of experience.
• Strong background in Machine Learning (ML) methods
• Condition Based Maintenance (CBM), CBM+
• Prognostics and Health Management (PHM)
• Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Sensors
• Familiar with several types of physics-based models to predict imminent failures
• Experienced in Java and/or Python scripting
• Experienced in database programming working with MS SQL Servers, Oracle DB, MongoDB, or similar
• Experienced with tools such as PTC Thingworx, Siemens Maintenance Aware Design environment (MADe), and Reliasoft Synthesis.
High school diploma/GED is required.
School must be accredited.
9/80 work week.
