Description
Chipton Ross is seeking a Form Operator for a contract opening in Nashville, TN

Form Operator
This occupation requires the science of forming the various metal, such as extrusions and sheet metal by methods of peening, saturation peening, and hot forming and as well as hand forming.

Responsibilities
" Set up and operate various power and manual fabrication machines, such as shot peen creasing, hot form and arbor press to meet engineering specification.
" Finishes parts that are partially formed by other operations.
" Calculates the areas of the parts requiring the bending to overcome spring back.
" Metal tag parts as required.
" Uses such typical equipment as lift truck, crane and scooter to load, move, unload and position tools, parts or materials.

Minimum Qualifications
" Must have two (2) years shot peening or saturation peening
" 2 years of other metal forming experience
" Computer proficiency to navigate systems for labor charging, access work instructions, record completion of work

Work Schedule
1st Shift, 5/40 schedule

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
