Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test & Evaluation Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in El Segundo, CA
*This position is 100% onsite.
Supports the development and verification of test methods. Develops detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan. Develops solutions to calibration systems problems of limited scope and impact. Designs test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements. Uses analytical tools to verify the design. Analyzes, processes, and formats data to customer requirements. Reviews test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer. Prepares and publishes test reports to document test results and satisfy requirements. Presents test results internally. Archives data and reports. Trains others. Works under general direction.
Must have 5+years of the skills below required:
• TEST ENGINEER-Required
• ON HAND EXPERIENCE WITH TEST AIDS (HANDHELD TOOLS)-Required
• TROUBLESHOOTING PROCESSINT TEST DATA/ TEST PROCEDURE DEVELOPMENT-Required
• FAILURE REVIEW BOARD (PLUS)-Not required but highly desired
• TEST READINESS REVIEW (PLUS)-Not required but highly desired
• SPECIAL TEST EQUIPMENT (STE)-PLUS--Not required but highly desired
• RF (RADIO FREQUENCY)-PLUS-Not required but highly desired
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in STEM programs to be considered.
10% to Florida
FULL TIME/VARIABLE SHIFT
WORK HOURS: Candidates must be flexible to be assigned to any shift. Start and end times below based upon first, second and third shift
• Start Time: 6am, 2pm, 10pm
• End Time: 2:30pm, 10:30pm, 6:30am
