Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer IV for a contract opportunity in Dallas, TX.

This position is 100% onsite.

REQUIREMENTS:
Development is first coded using Linux OS but moved to the deployed OS for final testing and delivery. Selected candidate will integrate algorithms into C++ applications. Candidate is expected to be proficient in C/C++ and special consideration will be given to applicants with experience using Ada. For this first assignment, the candidate will be working on a missile and fire control development program developing embedded code for a missile guidance system and integrating seeker software developed by outside supplier. It is expected that the applicant be proficient in all phases of software development from requirements through integration and test.


EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree, or greater, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or an equivalent field with significant software development experience.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
