Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Technical Writer III for a contract opportunity in Dallas, TX.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals, depot maintenance work requirements, and other technical publications in accordance with applicable military standard requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:
o Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) development experience o Working knowledge and experience developing to MIL-STD-40051-1 military standard requirements o Expert knowledge and proficiency with Arbortext o Expert knowledge and proficiency with eXtensible Markup Language (XML) o Expert knowledge and proficiency with Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) o Expert knowledge and proficiency with HTML style sheets o Experience and proficiency as a technical writer o Proficient with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint). o Ability to write using clear and concise language that adheres to customer-established standards and conventions. o Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills o Ability to quickly learn new software tools and processes o Must be able to work well in a team environment and work well with various levels of management o Strong attention to detail and must be able to work with minimal supervision

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree
Three years of relevant experience

SHIFT:
Full-Time
4/10 work schedule

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
