- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler IV for a contract opportunity in Archbald, PA.
This position is 100% onsite.
Performs a variety of electrical assembly operations such as soldering, wiring, cutting, chassis marking, making connections, etc. involving the proper technique and procedures to produce quality and quantity work as required by specifications and standards.
Minimum 2 years' experience doing wiring and soldering. The candidate must possess basic computer skills and be able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while exhibiting teamwork and sharing equipment with coworkers.
Must be able to make own corrections and revisions to work completed.
Should have a thorough knowledge of all phases of wiring such as forming and lacing of cables and harnesses and wiring of complicated equipment from diagrams, etc.
Must be able to show proficiency in the use of micrometers, gages, and wiring diagrams.
Must be able to use properly all necessary tools and equipment such as soldering irons, power drivers, pliers, files, , wrenches, screwdrivers, various portable power tools, and marking equipment, etc. for producing quality work.
Must have a thorough knowledge of the correct procedures to follow and precautions to take when performing his or her work in order to prevent damage to the equipment and/or material or injury to himself/herself and/or others.
Receives written and/or verbal instructions. Should be able to interpret and work from sample diagrams, graphic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and/or mechanical blueprints.
Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned; cleans up equipment and work area.
5+ years of wiring and soldering experience, J-STD Certifications. Thorough knowledge of all phases of wiring such as forming and lacing of cables, harnesses and wiring of complicated equipment from diagrams, wire lists and drawings.
5/40 work schedule
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
