Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking an Affordability Specialist IV for a contract opportunity in Huntsville, AL.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead or assist with should-cost estimates for proposals.
Lead or assist with PRICE TruePlanning estimates of propulsion system costs and associated component costs.
Lead or support Design-to-Cost efforts on programs.
Build a strong working relationship with the other Client employees to ensure that the group's capabilities are fully utilized and that the group's results are meeting customer needs.
Embrace a continuous improvement mindset.
Demonstrate a 100% commitment to quality in actions, decisions, and conversations.


REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with COTS parametric and other hardware modeling tools is highly desired Understanding of how to best segregate and capture product costs is preferred Familiarization with spacecraft and/or launch vehicle systems is preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required Strong work ethic and drive to succeed are required Ability to work with all levels of Client organization is required

EDUCATION:
Accredited a Bachelor's in Engineering or related discipline and at least 9 years directly related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Full-Time


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
