Chipton-Ross is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer IV for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.
This position is 100% onsite.
Looking for an experienced Software Engineer to develop embedded software for a real-time operating system on custom hardware. Development is first coded using Linux OS but moved to the deployed OS for final testing and delivery. Selected candidate will integrate algorithms into C++ applications. Candidate is expected to be proficient in C/C++. For this first assignment, the candidate will be acting as a software test engineer by designing and running tests for software usability. The candidate will also act as a test conductor who can coordinate a team composed of Systems, Software, Safety, and Quality Assurance engineers in formal verification exercises. The candidate will help to develop test documentation and ensure that test code and documentation is preserved in the configuration management system.
Accredited Bachelor's degree, or greater, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or an equivalent field with significant software development experience.
4/10 work schedule
