- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Engineer II for a contract opportunity in Carson, CA.
This position is 100% onsite.
o Supports the system or project engineer in the fabrication of equipment for the purpose of engineering evaluation and testing of products or systems.
o Utilizes sound technical problem solving to support ongoing projects with support from higher level engineers
o Able to accurately capture test data and document via test reports for submittal to external customers
o Able to work independently to support engineering efforts.
o Able to demonstrate the test stands/rigs to customers
o Takes responsibility (technical and project management) small/medium projects with support from management and/or higher level engineers.
o Has the mechanical, electrical, and control/software knowledge to lead the construction of system test rigs
o Provides input for system improvements based on testing observations.
o Utilizes sound technical problem solving to own or support ongoing and new projects
o Other duties as assigned?
1) support for B787 Water Pump verification and qualification preparation, B787 VG system thermal fuse and verification testing
2) VIP pump & A220 Heater Nuisance faults
Research, design and development / Testing
mechanical knowledge with test setups, fixtures, harnesses, labview, lab testing experience and knowledge.
Accredited Bachelor's Degree
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
