Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineer Structural 3 for a contract opportunity in Northridge, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyzes, researches and develops structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design, or operation of product to include structures, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronics, power plant, armament, heating and ventilating, equipment and maintenance designs. Analyzes damage tolerance, durability, design allowables and structural modeling. Specific structural engineering specialties may include dynamics and loads, stability and stress fatigue and damage tolerance analysis. Tools utilized may include FEMAP, PATRAN/NASTRAN, ABAQUS, ANYSIS WB, NX, ..etc. CATIA, IDEAS, ProEngineer and a variety of software applications.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree


EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
9/80 workweek

MISCELLANEOUS:

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
