Description



Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineer Systems 3 for a contract opportunity in Roy, UT.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
o Provide systems engineering, integration, and test support to ICBM development and modification program
o Apply the principles of engineering to design components and systems using applicable standards and specifications
o Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for mechanical, electrical and integrated systems
o Perform requirements analysis, develop source data for requirements, generate test requirements and prepare test reports (Nuclear Surety Evaluations)
o Evaluate physical security designs/implementations for compliance with DoD mandated requirements
o Support all phases of the systems lifecycle including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
o Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related experience

PREFERRED:
o Bachelor's degree in electrical or software discipline
o Experience with electrical or software analyses/test; verification of requirements
o Experience with Agile Development
o Experience with any of the following tools and languages: CORE, DOORs, Rhapsody, Cameo, ModelCenter, MagicDraw, SysML
o Experience working with Nuclear Surety Requirements and the Nuclear Certification process (e.g. AFI 63-125, AFMAN 91-118/91-119/31-108, DODM 5210.41, AFI 91-107)
o Prior experience and working knowledge of the GBSD program
o Experience in Systems Engineering and any of the following areas:
O Requirements Management: MBSE, Functional Block Diagrams, Specification Trees
O Systems and end item requirements validation and verification
O Design: Systems Design, Systems Architecture, Systems Integration, N2 Analysis, Trade Studies

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
9/80 workweek.
