Chipton-Ross is seeking one Engineer Software 3 for a contract opportunity in Colorado Springs, CO.
The successful applicant will develop software in a dynamic environment using the Agile (Scrum) framework. Experience developing software in the early stages of a project is useful but not required. Experience using design patterns early in projects to develop a strong foundation for the entire product lifecycle is suggested. The project heavily leverages CI/CD and automated test concepts, so DevSecOps experience is useful. Experience with Linux OS is required. Experience with code packaging and configuration management a plus.
*Strong C++ development skills
*Experience with secure software development such as DO-178C compliant or similar
*Experience with Agile development
*Experience with Atlassian tool suite
*Experience with software development using a DevOps pipeline
*Experience with Hardware/Software interface design
*Experience with software and hardware certification/accreditation
*Experience with embedded systems
*Experience with real-time operating systems
School must be accredited.
9/80 work week.
