Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineer Systems 2 for a contract opportunity in Roy, UT.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Systems Engineer with MBSE focus
o Derive, Allocate, Update and Maintain requirements and specifications
o Develop Weapon System Architecture Model and Requirements Verification Architecture Model.
o Develop and manage interfaces.
o Perform requirements analysis, develop source data for requirements
o Support all phases of the systems lifecycle including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
o Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o Experience in MBSE techniques, including: requirements management; interface control and verification; logical, physical and functional architecture; trade studies; and analysis of alternatives.
oUnderstanding of SysML, UML, or other descriptive constructs/tools.
o Experience working in an Agile team or even leading a Scrum team
o Cameo model development
Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline from an ABET accredited university; 2 to 5 years of experience performing in a Systems Engineering or related technical discipline;
Understanding of systems engineering principles and processes, requirements management, design and analysis. Demonstrated communication skills and flexibility; Proficiency in MS Office
Experience with basic systems engineering toolset and languages (e.g. DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, UML, SysML); experience in
o Requirements Management: MBSE, Functional Block Diagrams, Specification Trees
o Design: Systems Design, Systems Architecture, Systems Integration, N2 Analysis, Trade Studies
PREFERRED:
o Understanding of the following specialty areas: nuclear surety, cybersecurity, flight safety
o Experience using tools to model large systems with multiple developers.
o Experience in the military aerospace development environment is preferred.
o Experience with weapon systems
o Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
o Experience with Agile Development
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
School must be accredited.
HOURS:
9/80 workweek.
MISCELLANEOUS:
