Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Clinical Support Specialist C for a contract opportunity in Everett, WA.

*This position is 100% ONSITE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs vision testing (visual acuity, color and depth perception), interprets results, and recommends follow-up. Performs audiometric testing and informs employees of recommended actions. Collects and prepares blood and urine specimens for internal and external analysis, including biological monitoring. Performs diagnostic x-ray procedures and processes results. Conducts pulmonary function testing. Administers drug and alcohol testing through breath analysis and urine collection. Performs ancillary tests such as vital signs and EKG, and administers immunizations. Provides discharge instructions and inputs data into the employee''s medical record, adhering to confidentiality requirements. All testing is performed according to established protocols and procedures. Explains to employees the types of diagnostic tests and the reasons why tests will be conducted. Reviews test results and provides health care providers with diagnostic results for interpretation according to protocol. Provides guidance, assistance and training to less senior clinical support specialists. Assists management in lead role to ensure ongoing customer support efforts. Maintains excellent working relationships with cross-functional groups, co-workers and customers. Uses multiple media to communicate effectively. Operates, maintains, calibrates and solves problems related to testing equipment. Maintains documentation related to testing equipment and provides technical assistance and support. Determines when outside vendors need to repair equipment and makes recommendations on equipment purchases. Assists in writing and revising protocols and procedures. Provides training and support on use of equipment. Processes employee specimens and laboratory results according to guidelines, procedures and protocols. Provides quality assurance through documentation, quality control, proficiency testing and problem assessments. Ensures the accuracy and integrity of samples, internal test results and/or laboratory testing data. Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations. Administers and manages the vision surveillance program and may schedule and perform the testing. Develops lean processes to minimize loss of employee productivity and streamline the program components.

CERTIFICATIONS THAT WOULD BE A PLUS:
o Active/ability to obtain Washington Medical Assistant License/Certification
o Active/ability to obtain Washington X-Ray Technician License/Certification
o Active Basic Life Support certification

EDUCATION:
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

TRAVEL: YES
Will travel to various sites in the Puget Sound area but will primarily be working out of Everett.

ON CALL/WORK HOURS: 5-10 hours per week

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
