Chipton-Ross is seeking one Manufacturing Technician 3 for a contract opportunity in Goleta, CA.
Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
Attending a daily meeting to understand the tasks for the night, reading and understanding procedures and drawings, performing assembly and test tasks, and clean-as-you-go habits.
Minimum education requirement is HS Diploma or GED.
6+ years' experience for manufacturing tech.
Integrity, problem solving, critical thinking, communication.
Computer usage and experience with Microsoft office.
Communication is key, and flexibility.
Ability to work well in a team environment, but also able to work alone if the need arises.
High school diploma/GED required.
School must be accredited.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
