Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Engineer I for a contract opportunity in Archbald, PA.
This position is 100% onsite.
Specific duties will include: procedure development; planning and preparation; procedure execution; coordinate system resources to support testing; support test development, integration, and anomaly resolution as required; support off-hours testing and associated projects as needed. This role requires knowledge/experience with electronic circuits, automated test equipment, manufacturing processes, and the manufacturing test environment. Additionally, the ability to interpret test, implement requirement based methodologies, and analyze test data. Knowledge of equipment hardware and software development and maintenance is a plus.
Strong understanding of electronic components and equipment.
-Candidate must possess hardware troubleshooting experience.
-Experience in reading schematics.
-Experience with Analog and Digital circuits.
-Must be able to operate a computer and basic programs with little to no assistance.
-Ability to conduct detailed failure analysis and develop and implement root cause corrective actions.
-Ability to interpret test reports.
-Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Accredited BS in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related discipline.
4/10 work schedule
