Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer IV for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
This position is 100% onsite.
A candidate with experience using Gitlab CI as the automation engine is highly desired but experience with other automation engines are acceptable.
Candidate will be responsible for the development of CI/CD pipelines and toolchains for multiprogram
Candidate will participate in the test of embedded software for an operational flight program, so
it is desired that the candidate be familiar with embedded software such that they are able to communicate with the embedded development team.
This job role requires the DevSecOps engineer to have ample experience in
cybersecurity trends, profound technical knowledge, and a satisfactory amount of experience into DevOps.
C++ 11 or greater
Container management software such as Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift
Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD) automation engines such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, Ansible,
DevOps concepts and implementation, with experience designing and implementing continuous integration (CI) and
continuous delivery (CD) pipelines
Agile Software Development methodologies
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Ansible - automation engine for software provisioning and deployment
Bash - scripting
C++ 14 and/or 17
CMake - compiler
Conan - C++ package management
Cybersecurity - principles and methodology
Docker - container management software
Embedded real-time software
Full software life-cycle development
Git and/or GitLab - configuration management / version control
