Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Marietta, GA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Seeking Software Engineer with experience in embedded software development following SAFe Agile practices to join Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM) Software Engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for C-130J software engineering activities for Air Vehicle software products. Experience with real-time embedded military aircraft avionics systems, flight management systems (FMS) or mission computer development a plus. Familiarity with DO 178B/C also a plus. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and analytical skills required.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must have experience with Ada or C++
Experience with at least one of the following tools:
- Git/Gitlab
- Visual Studio
- Greenhills AdaMulti Development Environment
- Rational Apex
- IBM Rational DOORs
- VectorCAST
Experience with real-time embedded military aircraft avionics systems, flight management systems (FMS) or mission computer development a plus.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree
