Chipton-Ross is seeking an IT Software Engineer 4 for a contract/remote opportunity in Newport News, VA.
Design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software. Set operational specifications, and formulate and analyze software requirements. May design embedded systems software.
Bachelor's Degree and 9 years of experience. Master's Degree and 7 years of experience. Ph.D. and 4 years of experience. 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree. 8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree. A relevant professional certification can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
o Designs, develops, and tests programs for SAP modules and functions utilizing the ABAP programming language
o Interfaces with functional teams and end-users to ensure the proper integration of business processes and procedures.
o Prepares comprehensive and thorough technical program documentation including, but not limited to, requirements documents, test plans, and test cases.
Bachelors in Science or Masters is required.
School must be accredited.
Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
5/40 work week.
Remote 90% - Required to come into office one day monthly
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
