Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Tool Designer for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designs industrial machinery and equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements. Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts, in the field. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. May use CAD/CAM to design tools.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must have High Level of experience in concepting and designing aircraft assembly and component fabrication tools. High level of competency using model base tools (CATIA V5 or V6) also required.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
