Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Manassas, VA.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform repetitive light mechanical tasks as an operator on a fast-paced, high-rate production line.
Work collaboratively with advanced robotics and automation, using specialized tooling and fixturing in the manufacture of electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
Leverage multi-media work instructions to perform work and use a manufacturing execution system to document completions and quality defects.
May conduct in-line quality inspections in accordance with quality specifications and perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery.
Operator may disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must have some mechanical aptitude, but no experience required.
Hand tool is experience is desired.
Mechanical Assembly is desired.

Accredited HSD/GED

Full-Time
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
