Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Engineer IV for a contract opportunity in Dallas, TX.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate must be an Electrical Engineer with experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) integration and testing environment.

The candidate must have knowledge of electrical engineering in the areas of digital, analog, radio frequency circuit designs and electronic components.

The candidate must be capable of using lab equipment to troubleshoot hardware/software failures in support of HWIL integration and testing.

The successful candidate in this role will lead HWIL tasks such as generate testbed architecture definition, design hardware interface and simulation, setup and perform test on HWIL integration bench, review test data, and troubleshoot failures in the lab.

The candidate will also support program meetings, provide project status, and interface with a multi-discipline team.

The candidate will perform Control Account Manager (CAM) tasks such as estimating completion status and provide variance report.

The candidate will be required to travel up to 10% per year. Travel activities include Integration Bench Testing and Support at Sunnyvale, CA.

Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidate must be able to work well in team environment, have an active clearance, and willing to work onsite.

Ability to work onsite (Client-Dallas Campus) full time
Minimum 2 years of Hardware-in-the-Loop Experience
Minimum 2 years of Engineering Cost Account Management (CAM) Experience
Basic Electrical Troubleshooting Experience
Basic experience with Lab Test Equipment (Scope, DMM, PNA, etc…)
Ability to travel 1 week a month to Subcontractor Facility (California)


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with Electrical Design for Aerospace Applications
Experience with Electrical Harnessing , Grounding, and Hardware Integration

Accredited Bachelors' Degree
