Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Engineer for a contract opportunity in Louisville, CO.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this highly impactful role as an Project Engineer, supporting multiple Lines of Business and Functions across Aeronautics. You will lead diverse set of special projects (can include but not limited to the following types of projects: end-to-end value stream mapping/process improvement, improving application of Agile within Project Engineering, proposal/campaign support, technical problem resolution) You will also lead the development of Project Charters, Project Plans, and Project Execution and Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, Integration, and completion of Engineering projects with internal and external partners and customers. Maintain project schedules
o Calculate status and update Earned Value Status
o Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, daily stand-ups, and backlog grooming
o Monitor and update GitLab Agile boards
o Create and update project metrics
o Coordinate with project leads and higher level program finance
o Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
o Help teams implement changes effectively
o Support facility needs
o Support all phases of software development, from the development of requirements, design documents and project plans to testing embedded systems architecture

REQUIREMENTS:
CAM (Cost Account Management) Experience / Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) (3+ years)
o Experience with Project Management, Project Engineering, and/or Systems Engineering (3+ years)
o Experience with Microsoft Office products including MS Project, Excel, Word, PPT) (3+ years)
