Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking two Cable and Harness Technician 2 for a contract opportunity in Dulles, VA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manufacture cable / harness products. Reads and interprets Work Instructions, schematics, wirelists, and drawings. Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed. Ensures work is done with completeness, accuracy, adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assign tasks. Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues. Standing most of the day, ladder work, skyjack work, laying on back working up, crawling into vehicles to work inside.? Installing harnesses, thermal splicing, into challenging vehicles.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Harness assembly 0-3 years' experience with High School Diploma or GED
- Able to work weekends if necessary
- Good experience with hand tools
- Cautious when working with equipment

PREFERRED:
- Military Aircraft experience

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma/GED is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
9/80 workweek.


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
