Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Quality Control Analyst for a contract opportunity in Trumbull, CT.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Evaluation Inspection
o Final Inspection
o Perform the following inspection tasks as assigned on all components worked in the facility:
o Receiving Inspections
o Preliminary Inspections
o In-Process Inspections
o Use precision measuring instruments and gages such as feeler gages, dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, etc.
o Evaluate the repair work performed within our facility or sent to outside sources for completeness and compliance to technical data.
o Follow procedures found in component maintenance manuals, service bulletins, ORI's, OREI's, drawings, check sheets, etc.
o Review and interpret related paperwork to ensure proper identification of parts, operational sequence and recorded information on appropriate documentation.
o Interpret documentation received with incoming cores to determine adequate traceability and history.
o Research compliance requirements of components in work using AD's, ASB's, and other technical data.
o Must know where to find technical data such as operation sheets, manuals, ASB's, ORI's, OREI's and blueprints.
o Must be competent in the use of torque wrenches and have a complete understanding of SAC torque specification SS9300.
o Filing and archiving of records
o Adhere to all EH&S requirements, FAA & EASA regulations, company rules, policies, procedures and corporate initiatives.
o Tag and report to TPM Manager any equipment that is unsafe or requires maintenance.
o Segregate hazardous waste material and follow good housekeeping practices.
o Work occasional overtime as required to support business requirements.
Develops and implements testing and inspection procedures. Tests raw material, chemicals, and/or finished product to quality controls to ensure compliance with quality standards and applicable government regulations. Audits testing results to determine if product specifications are met. Advises operating units on quality control standards for raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials, and finished products. Recommends corrective action where necessary and develops plant quality control manuals.

MISCELLANEOUS:
This work assignment has been designated as "safety-sensitive" by the Client. Contractors assigned to safety-sensitive jobs at the Client site must first complete regulatory pre-placement requirements prior to reporting to assignment. Additionally, contractors assigned to safety-sensitive work will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with federal mandates.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
