Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Accounting Associate for a contract opportunity in Waco, TX.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Assisting with payroll/labor balancing and reconciliation
o Preparing and providing reporting to divisions
o Participating in testing for payroll system transitions
o Preparation and distribution of timekeeping metrics

REQUIREMENTS:
o 1 to 2 years of accounting experience with Bachelor's or Master's.
o Experience in account reconciliations and journal entries.
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Knowledge / Exposure to Sarbanes?Oxley (SOX) requirements.
o Experience in ERP software a plus
o Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Must be highly organized and able to work with little to no supervision. Self-starter with ability to manage time wisely.
High level of Data Entry accuracy needed

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
