Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Flight Controls Engineer for a contract opportunity in Fort Worth, TX and Palmdale, FL.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop linear and nonlinear air vehicle flight controls simulations; perform detailed open loop and closed loop flight control analysis. Use Matlab/Simulink tools to rapidly analyze and parse large flight controls simulation data sets. Review and assess adequacy of control law performance against requirements. Generate professional reports to summarize analysis results.

REQUIREMENTS:
Prior experience working with air vehicle simulations
o Prior experience working with air vehicle control laws
o Prior experience with MATLAB/Simulink

DESIRED:
o Engineering Degree in Aeronautics/Aerospace or other related engineering degree
o Prior experience working with air vehicle simulations
o Prior experience working with air vehicle control laws
o Prior experience with MATLAB/Simulink

EDUCATION:
Accredited Engineering Degree in Aeronautics/Aerospace or other related engineering degree
