- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Manager IV for a contract opportunity in Burbank, CA.
This position is 100% onsite.
An application project manager understands the strategic objectives of the client and business users, provides technical project management, directs and manages project development from beginning to end, defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, as well as develop full scale project plans and communications documents.
o 5+ years of experience in implementing and supporting agile implementations
o Experience with design and execution of business and technology best practices
o Experience working in cross matrixed teams o High degree of commitment, independence, and self-motivation; enthusiasm for challenging work
o Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
o Ability to lead the agile teams through all scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Panning, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives)
o Ability to work closely with the teams to deliver reliable project plans with accurate estimation for functional and technical designs, development and testing and training efforts o Ability to guide teams to ensure application features are of the highest standard & meet business priorities
o Ability to help anticipate and mitigate potential roadblocks for the teams as well as anticipate potential project related problems
o Ability to work in a matrixed organization and influence decisions with minimal formal authority
o Ability to consistently make timely decisions and balance systematic analysis with decisiveness, even in the face of complexity
o Initiative-taking and able to work with little supervision
o Maintain a productive working environment for the team(s)
o Demonstrates resiliency when met with challenges or setbacks
o General office activities - walking, standing, sitting, speaking, finger manipulation, lifting, bending, etc.
o Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel, both in person, on the phone or in virtual meetings
o Must be able to pay close attention to complex details and understand written and oral instructions
o Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively o Must be able to work well under time constraints
o Must be able to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned

o Data Visualization Tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
o Atlassian Suite (JIRA/Confluence)
o MS O365
o MS Power Apps
o Snowflake Data Warehouse
o Product Information Management Tools
Accredited Bachelor's Degree
Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
Must be able to work standard hours (9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.) with some flexible hours, including overtime, when necessary
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
