" We've seen Boeing reject candidate due to not meeting educational requirements so to be safe, ABET accredited educational institute is preferred.
Position Summary:
We are seeking for a proactive and experienced Liaison/MRB Engineer who can make quick engineering decisions that can go beyond their desks and into the factory for hands on engineering. This position requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, partnering closely with production personnel. The ideal candidate will apply engineering principles to assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle. They will analyze, conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for production non-conformances. Candidate should have experience with designing repairs for discrepant detail parts and assemblies fabricated from metallic and composite materials. This position involves daily exposure to factory environment which may include stairs.
Material Review Board Engineer II Accountabilities:
" Analyze production non-conformances and develop appropriate repair to meet customer and quality requirements. Coordinate with the customer and other support functions to develop repairs.
" Provide engineering/specification interpretation and general engineering support to support production, supply chain, and quality organizations.
" Provide engineering support for suppliers, production, and customers.
" Be able to support multiple programs with unique technical and quality requirements.
" Represent the engineering organization in the production environment.
" Apply knowledge of design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle.
" Support corrective action activities.
" Work under general direction to support assigned programs.
" Adhere to company MRB Engineering and QA procedures.
Experience and Education Requisites:
" Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's Degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification.
" Material Review Board (MRB) Engineering Disposition experience on military/commercial aircraft.
" Experience with CATIA V5 and Siemen NX is a plus.
" Stress analysis experience is a plus.
" Design experience is a plus.
Work Schedule
1st Shift, 5/40 schedule
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
