Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a contract opportunity in Burbank, CA.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze the existing systems and highlight areas of improvement
Enhance opportunities by identifying new software/service to be developed
Analyze and decompose complex requirements
Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions
Fulfill the role of a subject matter expert in requirement elicitation
Document requirements, create functional specifications and prepare wireframes/flowcharts
Oversee the development of the product as per the specifications
Facilitate change and configuration management
Monitor performance, discover variances and propose necessary actions.
Validate the functionality of the end product according to the requirement specifications
Prepare technical user manuals, system configuration documents and other technical reports.

60% Requirements Gathering & Functional Design:
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand the current state and document business requirements for newly requested features & enhancements. Translate business requirements into a comprehensive functional design that achieves the ideal future state while adhering to best technical practices. Collaborate with the development team to ensure a smooth and timely delivery of planned features

30% Salesforce-Specific Research and Recommendations:
Research out of the box Salesforce functionality that might address specific business requirements, or which could be modified to do so. Provide recommendations based on Salesforce knowledge or research to broader project team for discussion and decision.

10% Design Mockups or Wireframes:
Using a tool like Figma, provide design mockups or wireframes to communicate visually what is captured verbally in design specifications. Draft aids for estimation and development.
Business requirement documentation and user stories
Current & future state process flows
Highly detailed Functional Design Specifications
Tickets complete with steps to reproduce or acceptance criteria, or test scripts
Status report updates
Risk & issue log updates


REQUIREMENTS:
4+ years' experience as a business analyst, preferably focusing on Salesforce, working on new feature design for an active product or system
4+ years' experience working to define highly collaborative processes with extensive back and forth between teams, such as enterprise deal negotiation, that requires nuanced understanding of long-lived workflows.
Extensive experience planning, facilitating, eliciting, documenting, and managing business, functional and technical requirements
Demonstrated ability to lead conversations to decisions, addressing outstanding questions, providing clarification necessary, and getting sign off on designs
Expertise in modeling complicated processes and mapping current-state to future-state business processes
Confidence to lead conversations with multiple stakeholders, setting agendas and capturing clear next steps to keep discovery on track
Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects, activities, and tasks under time constraints
High energy level, adaptive and a strong team player with a good work ethic
Must demonstrate resiliency when met with challenges or setbacks
Excellent communication, collaboration, and client engagement skills that encourage discussion
Ability to create mockups or wireframes to support documentation, preferably using Figma
Experience in Media & Entertainment industry
Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence)
Project Management Tools (i.e., Monday.com, Asana)
Figma or other design tool
Microsoft O365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, etc.)
Must be a self-starter - as a member of a small team, you will be expected to lead your own deliverables without much oversight
Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel, both in person, on the phone or in virtual meetings
Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively
Must be able to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned
Must be service-oriented
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to demonstrate resilience and reset quickly if/when encountering potential setbacks
Must be able to maintain confidentiality

Accredited Bachelor's Degree

1st Shift
Must be able to work standard hours (8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.) with some flexible hours, including overtime, when necessary


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
