Chipton-Ross is seeking a Thermal Analyst Engineer for a hybrid contract opportunity in Littleton, CO.
This position will be 50% onsite, 50% remote.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Model and analyze spacecraft systems thermal performance
- Contribute to a team of highly skilled thermal engineers to develop novel and cutting edge solutions to complex problems
- Support ground and flight testing data analysis to validate thermal models as well as component and integrated flight designs
- Present technical results to both internal and external customers
- Support cross-functional technical and project teams
REQUIREMENTS:
Experienced in the use of finite element or finite difference analysis modeling to conduct component and system level transient thermal analysis for complex systems. Experience with thermal analysis and modeling programs such as Thermal Desktop, ANSYS, and Siemens NX TMG is desired
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Excellent customer interface skills
- Knowledge of design of experiments to support testing and evaluation to include test plan development, data collection, and post-test analysis and documentation
- Structural and thermo-structural analysis capability is a plus
- Experience with spacecraft systems is a plus

Accredited Bachelor's Degree
