Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for a hybrid contract opportunity in Littleton, CO.
This position will be 50% onsite, 50% remote.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Develop software to auto-generate Interface Control Documents (ICDs)/User's Guides (UGs) and Qualification Documentation
o Provide systems engineering support to developer teams through requirements, integration, and qualification
o Work under minimal direction
o Recent Systems Engineering experience on program (e.g., capability/feature development, systems test planning/execution, requirements analysis and verification, integration, etc.)
o Experience with Python or similar scripted languages
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers, management, and peers
REQUIREMENTS:
o Experience with DevOps tools and principles such as Jira, GitLab, Containerization (Docker), CI/CD
o Experience with Agile Software Development
o Experience with Models-Based Systems Engineering tools/methodologies such as UML, SysML, and/or Cameo
o Working knowledge of spacecraft design
o Experience mentoring engineers in a team setting

Accredited Bachelor's Degree
