Chipton-Ross is seeking a Programmer Analyst 3 for a contract opportunity in Renton, WA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Talent Acquisition is seeking a Programmer Analyst CONTRACTOR to join our Digital Production Pulse (Pulse) team in Renton, WA. We are looking for a developer in the Pacific Northwest to be our boots-on-the ground technical resource for the application. This role will perform the design, programming, test, implementation and documentation of multiple modules of the mobile-first responsive web application Digital Production Pulse. They will write and compile complex code based on documented design or designs application architecture that integrates application software and delivery subsystems for Pulse. Also, they'll modify or upgrade complex applications to maintain functionality and performance. Finally, they will Identify and recommend improvements and identify and resolve complex programming or application architecture problems.

o Design, integrate, test and deploy innovative, scalable and modular software for Digital Production Pulse in accordance with Client Enterprise standards and industry best practices.
o Understand technical needs within the business to help define and further grow research goals and mature value-add technologies.
o Participate in technical reviews and provide regular status information on task alignment with project goals.
o Document design decisions and develop integration and verification procedures to demonstrate compliance to requirements.
o Support the software quality efforts to across the development lifecycle.
o Provide on-site technical discovery with users/development product team as needed.

This position allows telecommuting. However, there is a requirement that the candidate is (at a minimum) in the Pacific Time Zone, and strongly preferable that they are able to be onsite at the Renton, WA when needed.

REQUIREMENTS:
o 3+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies.
o Experience using team collaboration tools including Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence.
o Strong proficiencies in frameworks such as Angular/React/VueJS and/or NodeJS (NestJS/Express) etc.
o Experience with open-source databases like MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.
o Experience in reactive programming (RxJs, Redux)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
o Experience with automating software builds, unit tests, integration tests, deployment, and installations using DevOps tools and techniques (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
o Experience with virtualization and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
o Experience in cloud application delivery platforms such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry, OpenShift, AWS, Azure, etc.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
7:30 am - 4 pm

FLEXIBLE START TIME.
o Does this worker follow a 9x80 Work Schedule?: CAN BE REQUESTED, MANAGER FLEXIBLE

MISCELLANEOUS:
Remote, onsite or a combination of both? Combination of both. Ability to be onsite is preferred. Minimum needs to be in the PST time zone.

o If they are local to the area, how many days onsite per week? On an Ad-hoc basis, at this time that's 1 per week.

o Is this subject to change? Days onsite can be subject to change depending on the need.

o Are you okay with out-of-state candidates?: YES - but Pacific time zone/on the West Coast.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
