Chipton-Ross is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for a contract remote opportunity in Seattle, WA.
Providing coordination that focuses on safety, compliance with quality requirements, internal and external customer support, and robust inventory control procedures.
Ensure a safe and clean work environment through a robust 5S program and other processes and driving towards identification of root cause and implementation of effective counter measures for all incidents, near misses and hazard identifications.
Prepare for and oversee the execution of all shipping, receiving and material handling activity. Coordinate the movement of materials to and from internal customers such as Production, Quality and Maintenance.
Perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies and adjust errors. Ensure ERP transaction completion and accuracy for incoming, in-process and outgoing material.
Oversee the storage and disposition of non-conforming materials.
Maintain quality records as they relate to shipping, receiving, dispensing of bulk stock, cleaning, preventative maintenance, hazardous material storage and any other documents as they relate to the operation.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP systems.
Must demonstrate customer focus, action/results orientation, verbal/written communications, and the ability to seek input and feedback from others.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma
Minimum of two (2) years experience or equivalent knowledge in Logistics functions. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Understanding and working knowledge of Logistics functions.
WORK HOURS: Full-Time RMT
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
