Chipton-Ross is seeking a Computer Sys Security Anlyst 3 for a contract/hybrid opportunity in Newport News, VA.

Conducts a compliant validation process for quality information technology systems which requires formal validation documentation (including standard operating procedures) under appropriate federal regulations. Coordinates activities with clients, programmers/developers and operating personnel, domestic and, as appropriate, global. Identifies current and anticipated requirements for compliant computerized operations and suggests methods for the identification, implementation and maintenance of the procedures, actions and documentation necessary to assure compliance according to the appropriate federal and international regulations which govern the users' applications. Reports on the status of validation activities to fulfill regulatory requirements. Keeps abreast of changing federal and international regulatory requirements, government audit policies, and the availability of current techniques.
Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects. Failure to obtain results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources.
Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.

Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience. Master's Degree and 3 years of experience. Ph.D. and 0 years of experience. A relevant professional certification can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
High knowledge in Enterprise Security Suites, preferably McAfee/ Trellix End Point Security Suite (ePO management) and data loss prevention principles.
o High level proficiency in Security Event Information Management tools; preferably in a large enterprise supporting more than 5,000 users.
o High knowledge in identifying and resolving issues across multiple environments (Linux, Windows, VMware, MS Azure, Amazon Web Services)
o High knowledge and proficiency with Active Directory, DNS, Kerberos, Claims Authentication, and VMWare virtualization technologies.

Bachelor's Degree is required.
School must be accredited.

5/40 workweek. 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
HYBRID position... 95% REMOTE
